When I first heard about article marketing I didn't really think that it could work as well as it does. It really does send a steady stream of traffic through to your site and once the work is done it's a constant advertisement just sitting out there on the Internet for you for free.
All the articles I submitted a few days ago are now published. When I search for the keyword phrase I am target ting I am not on the first page yet. But on page three of the search results is a link to one of the article marketing sites I submitted to. When I click on that page, 4 of the first 12 articles listed are mine. They have been read 43 times.
To give you an example of the power of article marketing, the top ranked link for this keyword on the first page of Google is from ezine articles. Now if I click on that link and go to that article, there is a section at the bottom of it titled: other recent articles and four of my articles are listed there.
If I were submitting articles regularly, even just one or two a week you can see how it can have quite an effect. One of the niche sites I created last year earns me about $30 a month. I have not done any work on it since I set it up and the only promotion it gets is from those original articles I wrote. I plan to put a bit of effort into it soon to increase the income.
The next step is to create a Squidoo page on the topic and put some links back to my sales page in it.
sorry for the constant page changes. I am changing the layout and my computer has been mucking up and I keep losing it, so I've just reverted to this template for the moment.
