This morning I finished creating the sales page for the product. It is just a one page sales letter and I just copied the format from the typical sales pages you see: blue border, white background, red and blue headings.
I took information for the sales page from the affiliate information about the product and some graphics from the original product sales page. I have published the page on it's own domain and now my plan is to drive targeted traffic to it using a variety of methods.
Tonight after work I will submit the articles I rewrote yesterday and rewrite the remaining ones. Then I will look at linking to my sales page from other sites, directories and social sites.
If you are thinking of doing some bum marketing, just do it! Don't wait around to do a perfect job, just get started. I learned more by 'doing' in the last 9 months or so than I did by reading all the masses of stuff I read. Gotta rush, time for work!
