Affiliate Competition Day 3: Submitting Articles

Here is a quick update on my progress and my plans.

Last night I wrote and submitted 5 original articles to ezine articles. These articles all have a text link in the author bio box pointing back to the product sales page that I created yesterday and a link to the main blog for this product.

The anchor text in the bio box is the keyword phrase for the product. On both blogs I did a short post and included a link back to my sales page using the first keyword phrase, and some other general phrases that I found for this product.

The anchor text is just the words that are highlighted with the link. So if I want my other blog to rank for phrase Eliminate Debt then I create text links back to that blog using that phrase, just as I have done above.

The next step is to submit the rewritten articles and I will finish that today. So once all those articles are published there will be 35 articles with back links to my sales page. If those articles get published on other sites then there will be even more links.

What I like about bum marketing is that once you write and publish the articles they are a permanent link back to the site. One article that I wrote back in November is read 2-3 times a day! Now I will be changing the site that it links to for better conversions when I launch my own product so I should see an increase in income from that article.

So by the end of today the articles will be submitted and both blogs I created will be submitted to blog directories.
